The Maghreb Arab News Agency (MAP) Foundation organized a ceremony in Rabat on July 12th, 2023 to honor members of the agency’s staff who have been awarded Royal Wissams, as well as several executives and employees who have recently retired.

On this occasion, MAP’s Director General, Fouad Arif, presented the Royal Wissams to the journalists and administrative staff concerned.

The Director General also presented certificates of merit to members of the Agency’s staff retiring in 2023.

Speaking on this occasion, Arif congratulated the staff members who had the distinguished honor of receiving royal distinctions in recognition of their dedication and self-sacrifice throughout their careers, and their valuable contribution to the Agency’s national and international promotion.

The Director General stressed that retirement from the media sector in no way meant the end of one’s professional career, noting that the Agency’s doors would always be open to its retirees, so that they could put their skills and experience to good use, particularly in the process of training young journalists.
