PM holds talks with Polish counterpartWarsaw - Prime Minister, Abbas El Fassi held talks, Thursday in Warsaw, with his Polish counterpart, Donald Tusk on relations between the two countries and the necessity to promote them in the economic, commercial, and cultural fields.
These talks were an occasion to discuss the relations between Morocco and the European Union (EU) and the Advanced Status granted to the Kingdom by the Union as well as the Morocco-EU Summit to be held next March in Granada (Spain), El Fassi told the press following the meeting. The Moroccan official said the talks focused also on issues relating to the Union for the Mediterranean and the partnership between the countries of Eastern Europe and the EU, describing this partnership as an opportunity that should be seized to consolidate relations between the Kingdom and the members countries. El Fassi also met with the Speaker of the Polish Parliament, Bogdan Borusewicz and the Moroccan-Polish parliamentary friendship group.
