Princess Lalla Salma takes part in Morocco's anti-cancer association General AssemblyRabat - Princess Lalla Salma, Chairwoman of Morocco's anti-cancer association (ALSC) took part, on Saturday in Rabat, in the proceedings of the 2008 Regular General Assembly of the Association.
Members of the General Assembly hailed the Executive Board for the achievements of the ALSC to fight cancer in Morocco in terms of prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Princess Lalla Salma, accompanied by Princess Ghida Talal and Princess Dina Mired of Jordan, Chairwoman and CEO of "King Hussein Cancer Foundation" respectively, chaired several ceremonies on the occasion of the National Day to fight cancer, celebrated on November 22. Princess Lalla Salma presided over the signing of a Partnership agreement between the ALSC and the Vaudois University Hospital Center. The agreement aims to develop training through various exchanges and internships, expertise, and research in the field of cancer. Princess Lalla Salma chaired the presentation of certificates to some participants in various trainings organized by the ALSC in Morocco and abroad (France, Switzerland and United States) benefiting 500 health professionals. The princess also awarded certificates to winners of the National Competition “secondary and high schools without tobacco".
