Rabat - King Mohammed VI, accompanied by his brother Prince Moulay Rachid and cousin Prince Moulay Ismail, chaired on Sunday a religious ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the death of his father, the Late King Hassan II.

The ceremony took place at the Mohammed V mausoleum in Rabat, where the late kings Hassan II and Mohammed V (his father) as well as Prince Moulay Abdallah (brother of Hassan II) are buried.

This ceremony was marked by the recitation of Koran verses and the declamation of panegyrics in praise of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

The sovereign, commander of the faithful, prayed at the tombs of late King Hassan II, King Mohammed V, and Prince Moulay Abdallah.

A similar ceremony was chaired by princess Lalla Meryem, sister of King Mohammed VI, in the Assouna Mosque in Rabat.
