Road accident kills eight, injures nine in central Morocco

Chichaoua - Eight people were killed and nine injured, five seriously, in a road accident that occurred on Thursday, thirty kilometers away from the central city of Chichaoua.

   The accident took place when a truck collided head-on with a small van on the national road linking Marrakech to the Atlantic city of Agadir, local authorities said.

   The injured were taken into the Ibn Toufail hospital in Marrakech to receive medical care.
