A/H1N1 cases in Morocco rise to 929Rabat - The number of confirmed cases of A/H1N1 in Morocco has risen to 929, according to the latest figures released by the Health Ministry.
Twenty-four new cases were documented, on Tuesday, in the cities of Rabat, Casablanca, Oujda, Béni-Mellal, Salé and Meknès, the Ministry reported. All the diagnosed cases are receiving care with regular check up, it said in a statement. The first A/H1N1 death case was reported on Monday in the eastern city of Oujda. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was admitted to a local hospital on November 10 after suffering for a week a pleuro-pulmonary infection.
