A/H1N1 cases in Morocco rise to 1,101

Rabat - The number of confirmed cases of A/H1N1 in Morocco has risen to 1,101, with 29 cases documented on Friday, according to the Health Ministry.

    The cases were reported in Casablanca, Rabat, Oujda, Ifrane, Tangier, Temara, Taza, Settat, Fez and Salé, the ministry said, adding that all of them are undergoing regular check-up.

    Out of this total, 582 cases were documented in schools.

   The first A/H1N1 death case was reported last Monday in the eastern city of Oujda. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was admitted to a local hospital on November 10 after suffering for a week a pleuro-pulmonary infection.
